Global Road Technology invented soil conditioner based on water-soluble polymer, named GRT-ENVIRO 1.
It is applied in powder or liquid form. The powder form can be spread on the soil before irrigation while the liquid form can be dosed into irrigation water or sprayed on the surface. Applied concentration depends on the local conditions and desired effect. GRT-ENVIRO 1 agglomerates soil fines and increases cohesion between all particles and thus decreases erosion influence. This method is type of erosion control methods that support planting as it creates stable porosity in soil which is needed for plant growing. This kind of soil has longer water and nutrients retention periods. The product becomes active in around thirty minutes upon application. It creates soil suitable for planting under harsh conditions, even in deserts. When it comes to soils in wet regions treated with GRT-ENVIRO 1, rainwater is not causing erosion, but is caught in the soil pores and used by plants.
